Buffalo Soldiers QUESTION 2
OPTION 2: If children want to grow up to be like heroes they see in the media, but none of the heroes in the media look like them, how might this change the ways children think about themselves?
Children will begin to wonder why there isn't a hero that resembles themselves, someone that they can identify with. This will cause some kids to feel inferior and may feel that there is something wrong with them. It may also drive some kids to create a hero that represents them. So the outcome may eventually turn into a positive one.
